The butterfly garden is home to 15,000 butterflies of 50 different varieties differing in size and color, they can be viewed within the garden's 10 domes.
These are referred to as Topiaries which are plants and trees that have been trained, cut, or trimmed to create the desired three-dimensional object. Training in this context is a method that is used to shape the plants by using a frame.

The Mosque’s Courtyard is an open space that is used during significant Islamic prayers and gatherings. In particular, the courtyard is utilized during the prayers for Eid Al Fitr, Eid Al Adha, as well as Taraweeh and Tahajjud during Ramadan.
With an area of 17,400 square meters, the courtyard is capable of accommodating 31,000 people at once.

Historically, these functioned as a high place to signal a call for prayer however, nowadays, loudspeakers are used to communicate the same message.

The Smurfs franchise originated in Belgium, where its original author Pierre Culliford under the pseudonym Peyo created comic strips that were published in newspapers and later in magazines wherein he would find success and later create the smurfs as part of his other series Johan & Pewitt.
Reflective Pools
A feature in traditional Islamic architecture and gardens, Reflective Pools can be found surrounding the perimeter of the mosque. The pools are composed of tiles in different shades of blue.
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the largest mosques in the world constructed by the late founder of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. It features traditional Islamic architecture and is said to have been constructed in such a way that 'unites the world' since it makes use of artisans, craftsmen and materials from various countries.

One of the attractions of the flower garden is the Smurfs Village, themed after the famous comic, movie, and television franchise. The attraction features the small blue creatures, characters from the franchise, and various designs including that of their dwellings.

A bridge that goes over a section of the man-made Burj Khalifa Lake, it connects two malls, the Souk Al Bahar and the Dubai Mall.
